The perfect accessory for what Ameritron left out, a bypass switch!
This listing is for our Radiodan remote amplifier BYPASS switch box that will allow you to use
ONE radio to TWO amplifiers
or
TWO radios to ONE amplifier
or
ONE radio to ONE amplifier
There is no buffer inside this box, it's purpose is to allow bypassing your amplifier with an easy to mount switch box.
Put the BYPASS switch closer to where YOU want it.
1 - Center off (Bypass) - 2
When used as One radio to Two amps - The center cable goes to your radio keying circuit, the other two go to each amplifier relay switching jack
When used as Two radios to One amp - the center cable goes to your amplifier (the other two go to your radio T/R keying, we suggest our RBI-1 interface)
Can also be used with just one radio and one amplifier.
Center conductors are switched, common ground shield of each cable are tied to together
If used for ONE radio to TWO amps, be certain all RCA jacks on amplifiers are common ground!
Use mounting tabs on box with your screws or whatever mounting method you choose.
What is included? The box with center off switch and three 5 foot RCA cables, just as shown.
We HIGHLY suggest the use of a high quality Amplifier Relay Buffer Interface like the Radiodan RBI-1 which is a better and more universal interface
When connecting your Radio and Amplifier, there may be switching voltage, polarity, and current incompatibility  that can cause damage to your radio or amplifier if connected without a switching interface between them. Even if your internal radio switching looks like it might be usable, it is wise to have an extra degree of isolation between your amplifier and radio with our relay buffer interface.
