Great amplifier.   It will do more than 40 watts on 445 Mhz., but I have turned the power adjustment pot to 40 watts.   It requires 200 milliwatts of drive. That's .2 Watt. These tests were performed with a service monitor.   Because of the potential of over driving with more power than allowed, we are selling AS-IS, no returns.
This one has the relay in it.   To use on a repeater, you will ground the feed through (to turn on the relay).   If you are using in a base station half duplex, then your control line will turn the relay on/off as appropriate. Receiver (if used in half duplex) hooks to the RCA jack near relay.   Input to the amp is on the other end of the amp.   Cover was removed temporarily in last 3 photos to show detail. It comes with cover.
