Yes, the price has gone up..... Unfortunately the cost has gone up on all Texas star parts and there is no way around it. We'll continue to sell these parts for now but if the cost increases continue we may be forced to stop selling them. We appreciate your business.
This kit now includes 2 additional LED's for 6 total! That way you have spares!
This kit is for various Texas Star amplifiers and it is up to the buyer to verify that this kit is the correct one for the application.
After numerous requests we now have a kit which includes original oem Texas Star push-button lenses!
This listing is for the following:
1 - Red Power pushbutton lens
1 - White Receive Amp pushbutton lens
1- Green AM pushbutton lens(can replace dial a watt)
1- Yellow Delay pushbutton lens(can replace ssb)
6- Ultra White long life replacement LED's
Please make sure when installing these that the polarity is correct, if it doesn't light up just flip it around and it will light up. These are LED's Not bulbs so the polarity (the + or -) has to be corrected in order for them to work. We get lots of calls because folks think they received a bad LED but it was simply not being installed correctly. ALL OF OUR LED'S ARE TESTED BEFORE SHIPPING SO PLEASE CHECK FOR CORRECT POLARITY! These are the same LED's we use to upgrade every Texas Star we sell because they'll last a very long time, and YOU will not have to worry about replacing them later!

YOU CAN HOWEVER REMOVE THE LED FROM ITS SOCKET AND SOLDER WHERE THE OTHERS WERE INSTALLED BUT IT DOES REQUIRE SOME SOLDERING SKILLS. WITH THE MODIFICATION

This listing is for 4 pushbutton Lenses and 6 LED'S to replace the old dim looking incandescent 18 volt bulbs behind the pushbuttons. These fit right in place of the original bulbs and give a much more vibrant lighting without the overpowering brightness of other mods out there. Simply install the LED into the sockets and if it doesn't light up flip it over for the correct polarity, no need to add resistors or modify anything, just plug and play! I use these personally so I can vouch for the fitment and dependability. These will be tested before shipping to assure that your LED'S will be working correctly. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES DONE TO AN AMP WHILE INCORRECTLY INSTALLING THESE SO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION.
