Yaesu Amplifier Relay Box FRB-757, RCA Jack Inputs. New in the Box.

Description

This listing is for a new in the box Yaesu Relay Box for keying the amplifier from a transceiver. Many of the more modern rigs are not capable of switching the larger currents and higher voltages of the transmit receive relays of some linear amplifiers. This small box was made by Yaesu to remedy that situation. Although it was made for the FT-757, it can be used with almost any rig that needs a "beefier" relay to switch the linear amp. It does not even need to be a Yaesu rig. This box needs 13 VDC (and has an RCA phono plug for that purpose), and is connected to the rigs linear amplifier relay output with another RCA phono plug. The output of the box has both normally open and normally closed contacts, both terminated in RCA phono jacks. Contacts are rated at 600 VA AC, 150 W DC load, and will switch up to 250volts and up to 5 amps.  No instructions in the box so you will have to look online for the many instruction sheets available for connections.
